Write to your Senators and tell them to Sunset the Tax Code!

The American public recognizes that the current federal income tax system is so complex and so riddled with special deals for special interests that it is inherently unfair and inherently inefficient.

The public NEEDS tax reform that results in a simpler and fairer system.

Please petition your Senators now and urge them to join us in proposing to sunset the Tax Code by January 1, 2020:

PETITION: Please legislatively terminate the US Tax Code as a first step towards meaningful tax reform.

You also have the opportunity to send a personal letter to your Senators explaining in greater detail your frustration with the current system. Suggested text will appear after you sign the petition in the boxes below. The suggested text is completely editable.

Make sure to petition your Representative too. CLICK HERE!

The IRS has discredited the agency and can no longer be trusted as unbiased..the progressive income tax is a sham and discriminatory.

Band Aids are fine for cuts and abrasions but not for the tax code. Time for complete overhaul on the Fed to flat or fair tax and subsequent changes at state and local levels.

The current tax code punishes and discourages prosperity and productivness! Let's have a nat'l sales tax that taxes consumption! Plain and simple. Someone who can afford a Mercedes will pay more than the guy buying a used Ford. Seems fair to me. It's not fair that the current tax code encourages people to stay home from work and collect benefits that have more value than a minimum wage paycheck.

It is time to change our ways that punish those who work hard. We need a tax system that does not benefit lobbying groups. 2020 really is not soon enough.

The current tax code is nothing more than a way for politicians to give favors to one group/individual or another.

If Congress won't sunset the 70,000 page tax code, then sunset Congress. Time to start over - flat or fair tax.
