Write to your Senators and tell them to Sunset the Tax Code!

The American public recognizes that the current federal income tax system is so complex and so riddled with special deals for special interests that it is inherently unfair and inherently inefficient.

The public NEEDS tax reform that results in a simpler and fairer system.

Please petition your Senators now and urge them to join us in proposing to sunset the Tax Code by January 1, 2020:

PETITION: Please legislatively terminate the US Tax Code as a first step towards meaningful tax reform.

You also have the opportunity to send a personal letter to your Senators explaining in greater detail your frustration with the current system. Suggested text will appear after you sign the petition in the boxes below. The suggested text is completely editable.

Make sure to petition your Representative too. CLICK HERE!

What is happening to the people of the United States of America is a crime when it comes to the Tax Code. Unless you can stand in front of me and explain every page of the Tax Code, we need to do more for Americans so that they can earn their livings, and have a clear understanding of what their monies are being used for, and why they are being taxed at the rates they are. I believe in a system where you are taxed on the items you purchase. Being taxed out of my paycheck, then being taxed on purchases, and then having to pay at the end of the year is not a valid system. You are supposed to be a REPRESENTATIVE of the People, not someone who is taking from them for your own purposes.

Each year as I purchase software to help me understand the tax code and make my best effort to file correctly and pay taxes due, I am frustrated beyond belief at the complexity and annual changes to the US Tax Code. When will our leaders in Washington, including YOU, stand up and act in the best interest of THE PEOPLE, the ones you represent. We don't want the convoluted tax code! We want something simple, like a 15% consumption tax - no loopholes, no deductions. If a company purchases a jet, they pay tax on the jet and have no business expense to deduct (so their net income is not taxed). If a private citizen purchases a car, tax is paid once. For a birthday gift, tax is paid at purchase, one time only. Our paychecks would not have FIT deductions because the tax code would be gone. If we save money, we save taxes; if we spend money, we pay taxes. Please let me know if you are willing to support sunsetting the tax code before 2020.what are you folks waiting for? Implement a flat consumption tax and remove the IRS from our lives, once and for all. Also, the flat/consumption tax needs to be in stone, so you people who cannot control your spending have no method to continually raise it. Get your house in order! Control your spending! You and your legislative action are not the answer.

Lets end the biggest albatross laying on our economy. Its corrupt like the democrat running for president, it robs businesses of expansion and wastes tremendous resources time and money to fill out forms to transfer wealth. If we dont want to operate like the Soviet Union didnt, then u brilliant Senators should figure out this tax system is dysfunctional and must and eventually be acrapped better with u now than someone with proper moral and ethical servitude later!
