Write to your Representative and tell them to Sunset the Tax Code!

The American public recognizes that the current federal income tax system is so complex and so riddled with special deals for special interests that it is inherently unfair and inherently inefficient.

The public NEEDS tax reform that results in a simpler and fairer system.

Please petition your Representative now and urge them to join us in proposing to sunset the Tax Code by January 1, 2020:

PETITION: Please legislatively terminate the US Tax Code as a first step towards meaningful tax reform.

You also have the opportunity to send a personal letter to your Representative explaining in greater detail your frustration with the current system. Suggested text will appear after you sign the petition in the boxes below. The suggested text is completely editable.

Make sure to petition your Senators too. CLICK HERE!

The SSA and the IRS lost the W2's that were sent in by my employer and now the IRS claims we all owe thousands of dollars in taxes. Now our lives are going to be a living hell as it may take over a year to resolve. Meanwhile our credit ratings and finances are in jeopardy. This is the fault of the SSA and the IRS So why do we the people have to suffer? ABOLISH THE IRS NOW!

You as our elected representatives know it's time to change our tax laws. It's time you started "representing" the people who put you in office.

The current tax code is filled with too many loop holes that only a select few can take advantage of. It is too complex to even begin the undertaking of trying to close them all. We need simplicity and transparency in the tax code and the best way to attain that is to blow the current one up and start over.

The tax code is completely unfair. The tax payer is tapped out, We can not afford the current tax rates, and the working class is not getting the tax breaks that are given to big business and big special interest.

It is inconceivable that our tax system is so convoluted! We need EVERY law and EVERY code to be simplified so that every citizen can understand. I believe it is called "transparency."

Its a shame that at 35 years old with a full time job and 2 good incomes we are living paycheck to paycheck. Its unfair and unjust to the shrinking middle class to bear the load for everyone else.
